Friendship for short term

I shouldn't expect a lot of things from people. I shouldn't expect my friends to stick with me forever because the truth is.. it is not going to happen in long-term but isn't so sad when you think of this things? Realizing that people who were close to you became so distant? Not because they wanted to but because it just happened and you got nothing to do about it. You used to text and call everyday, used to hang out every weekends and now, you barely say hello. The "awkward" feeling when you bump into each other.
